ABOUT

Here is a place I encourage art and all sorts of creativity. Aspire to fill these galleries with pieces and meanings to give an example of why you should look for it in everything. Why? Why not? Humans are considered the only species to try to find meaning in a meaningless world, because through meaning do the colors really shine. Did you ever read The Giver?

Let me give your work meaning, because it matters, because you matter.

Small things matter

When I was in the 9th grade, I submitted a rewrite of a somber poem I had originally illustrated in back in the 7th. It was about overcoming my deepest fears, and the rewrite was about how those fears evolved to then. With submitting this piece to this contest, I never anticipated it would really go anywhere, which is partly why I did end up submitting it anyway. I thought it wouldn't really matter or reflect, but at least I did it and won't regret not doing so every time I pass the damn flyer. Yet it mattered, now that a poem is published in that year's collection book. It scared me at first, but over time it gave me power and confidence in myself and my overall creative abilities, knowing that acknowledgment. To now be here with this website talking to you.⋆.ೃ࿔*:

Submit something; why not? What do you really have to lose? Allow for small recognitions to build the ability to recognize and encourage yourself to aspire. I encourge you :)

What's ever truly at stake?

Why not risk being seen for a change?

Why not allow curiosity to outweigh fear of uncertainty for once?

At least why not in a safe, supportive space to practice for harsher options?

Creation has always asked this of us. Every piece of art, every poem, every small act of expression is a moment where someone chose the possibility of meaning over the comfort of silence. The truth is that we rarely know which moments will matter while we are standing inside them. The value of trying rarely reveals itself immediately. Often it shows itself much later, quietly shaping who we become.⋆⭒˚.⋆

Easy and quick

"How does one become a butterfly?" they ask. "You must want to fly so much that you are willing to give up being a caterpillar."

You'll grow to be a butterfly no matter the horizons you still have ahead of you, so why not take a step now to prepare and grow deeper colors within your wings? Art and creativity are in everything and anything. My dad always said when he graduated high school, his job within IT didn't even exist yet, but he knew what he wanted and went forth anyway in ways that did, and now it exists and he's surpassed it. Life is all about chances; why not practice at taking chances when you can? That's the key to attracting opportunity, and here's one for you. ≽^•⩊•^≼
